Listing, showing and selling property creates unique safety challenges. Real estate professionals typically work alone and often meet with strangers in unfamiliar and vacant locations. This makes them extremely vulnerable to physical attacks and property crimes. Through his extensive experience in the industry, Amit realized there was a great need to educate real estate professionals and help them find a balance between selling and safety. He developed common-sense practices that can be implemented with relative ease to minimize the obvious dangers of the profession--without intruding on the selling process.

Safety Topics Include

  • Developing Awareness
  • Marketing Yourself and Your Business
  • Meeting New Clients
  • Showing a Listing
  • Conducting an Open House

Amit Z. Baruch

Amit Z. Baruch is a dynamic and charismatic speaker who seeks to entertain and empower while conducting his real estate continuing education classes. Those who have experienced his classes have used words like “magnetic, inspirational and funny” to describe Amit. He is passionate about what he teaches—and that passion comes through in his classes.

Amit focuses on teaching safety and awareness practices to real estate professionals. His personal mission is to make selling safer. His background provides Amit the unique skill set needed to address this situation and create solutions. He has been involved in real estate finance, development and sales for more than 18 years, and he understands every facet of the industry. Amit is also a certified hand-to-hand combat instructor—training civilians, law enforcement and executive protection teams in Krav Maga, the close-quarter-battle system of the Israeli military. He previously worked as part of a security and operations detail for the Israeli government, where he trained in executive protection, facility security, self defense and martial arts. Although he is skilled in physical violence, and instructs others in how to inflict it when absolutely necessary, Amit preaches and teaches the art of avoiding trouble altogether. He advocates: the best physical altercation is the one that never happens!
